What grades do you currently offer?
Each year we evaluate our school enrollment  to determine what grades we will offer. As there are demands, we add additional grades. For the 2011-2012 school year we have Nursery 2 – 6th grade. Here at CJC Academy sixth grade is considered middle school.

Do you wear a particular uniform?
YES. Our schools does require a school uniform for K4 and above. For detailed information, go to our dress code page.

Do you provide a hot lunch program?
YES. Studies show that children who eat school lunch have higher nutrient intake — both at lunch and over the course of an entire day. This is great news, because when children are better nourished, they perform better in school. From children to parents to teachers, everyone benefits from a nutritious school lunch.

What curriculum do you use?
It is common practice in private Christian schools to mix and match various curriculum. However, here at CJC Academy, we exclusively use the A Beka curriculum due to it’s strong phonics program and overall design.

What are your tuition rates?
Tuition and fees vary due to military discounts and multiple-child discounts. To gain a general idea you can download the CJC Academy Brochure. For specific information for your family please call 915-595-1328.

Do you offer before and after school programs?  YES. We understand the busyness of working parents schedules and our before and after school programs certainly make life easier. You don’t have to worry as they are developed to provide safe quality childcare. These programs are fee based and the information is available in the downloadable CJC Academy brochure.Top

Do you offer Bible classes in your curriculum? YES. As a Christian school we believe that all education begins with an understanding of the Bible. Therefore every grade begins the day with a Bible lesson.Top

Do you conduct field trips? YES. Field trips are designed for the students and the teacher to enjoy a fun outing off school grounds, and this is a special time for the class. All field trips are at the discretion of the teacher. For our detailed policies, see the CJC Preschool Handbook.  Top

Do you offer extra-curricular activities?YES. Extra-curricular activities are a fun way for children to discover and develop their special talents and abilities. All of the extra-curricular activities listed below are a part of our education method and they are FREE, except for your cost of any materials your child may need.

            Do you offer athletics programs?YES. Here at CJC Academy we believe that physical education is as important as academic learning. We offer a comprehensive physical education program as well as team sports. Currently we offer basketball and track for the fourth graders and above. There are nominal fees involved with all sporting activities.
